Congratulations to Coach Mike Swan who came in 6th place in his AG at the Hawaii 70.3 half Ironman Champs as well as Karen Peabody who came in 13th in her AG to both qualify for the Worlds!
Also Congrats go out to Kerry Small, 2nd AG 21:30, Stacey Bailey 1st AG 21:45, Mariann Thomas, 1st AG 22:39 and Jill Ireland, 2nd AG 23:31 who all raced the Ventura Beachfront 5K last weekend!

We will be meeting at Goleta Beach parking lot tomorrow at 6:30.
Workout: easy 40min warmup, strides x 5, low end threshold effort from in front of the restroom at Goleta Beach to just beyond the Bike path/Turnpike intersection (3miles), 5min jog, 2miles @ 10sec per mile faster (still threshold effort, but slightly higher effort), cooldown remaining miles.

Congratulations to Austin Janisch on his 16th place at the Quicksilver 100K in 11:48! Also, Congrats to Evan Moore who raced to a 1:26 Half Marathon on the Hilly Brooklyn Half Course, largest in the country! (30K plus) as well as Brian Dutter and son who ran the Bay to Breakers 12K last weekend!
